Choosing right education stream has become very much important decision for the younger generation. Traditional style of selecting a graduation is not a good idea for the current generation. From 1990 to 2010,  youths used to choose either Engineering or Medical/Dental or MBA as a default selection. But now these streams has created lot of talents who are overwhelmed in the market. Getting the job with this skill set is becoming very difficult due to saturation. Most suffered are the graduates who are passed out from 2010 on wards. So think before concluding on a particular graduation.

Collect information about each of the graduation. Your focus should be on the job opportunity. So choose the graduation which fuels more to your job profiling. Fewer the people more the demand is the thumb rule applies for all field. Decision should be framed such that, the course which you are selecting should have the life until you finish the graduation. If the domain losses its scope by the time you complete your graduation, then the buck stops there. You are out. The graduation you attained is of no use. So you will have to continue the higher education further or you should struggle a lot. But remember that is not the goal for most of the people. They aim at good job after completing their graduation, rather than going to master degree.

Each degree has saturation. More the number of people admitting to a particular graduation, more the saturation rate. More the saturation rate lesser the scope for job. Classic example is here. From 2000 onwards, the number of people admitting to engineering courses increased rapidly. So, number of graduates got increased from year to year. So by 2010, there were plenty of engineers in the market. newly passed out fresher landed with no job. Interesting thing is little more here.
  1. As the people felt the heat of joblessness, they were more prepared for the less paid jobs in the small companies.
  2. As more peoples are available in the market, the remuneration for experienced hands also affected and it got decreased. The IT professionals lost the glory of earlier times where they treated as if they came from heaven.
  3. Their fate turned to be the fate of B.com / B.sc holders of late 90s.
But interestingly this also fueled for the younger generation to come up with their own start ups. This helped in breaking the dominance of the bigger IT giants. This intern witnessed a major revolution in the IT Industry.
  1. As the start ups started to gain its focus, more ideas flowed in to the market. More the idea more the change. So world witnessed an exponential growth in technology revolution after 2010.
  2. People started to learn and discover the market in their own way and also they got well awareness on how capture the market.
  3. This opened the job opportunities for all category of people irrespective of their education qualification.
We can say, The decade 2000 - 2010 as a Mother of Technology revolution. The series of developments which happened in this decade has become an incomparable contribution to the future world. Its well said, that 'We are here to build the next generation'. This has really worked in the last decade. The world witnessed a transition from one state to another state.
